TUITION-FREE JOB TRAINING PROGRAM
Great Jobs KC Job Training Program provides adults 17 and overlooking to create a better future with access to tuition-free job training programs in high-paying and high-demand industries.
The mission of Great Jobs KC is to provide access to college scholarship and tuition-free job training along with job placement assistance to secure family-sustaining jobs for low-to-modest income individuals in the Kansas City area.
Great Jobs KC Training Program Requirements
· Adults age 17 and over
· Earn less than $45,000 per year
· Have high school diploma or equivalent
· Live in one of the 6 eligible counties Cass (MO), Clay (MO), Jackson (MO), Platte (MO), Johnson (KS), Wyandotte (KS)

Scholar Support Resources →
Once enrolled in a Great Jobs KC Program, our Scholar Support Services Team can work with each Scholar and their Scholar Advocate when life doesn’t go according to plan. We can help identify available resources and make personalized referrals where possible. Great Jobs KC and community partners collaborate to support Scholars through emergency situations with:

· Other Needs

1. Intake
· Identify Career Interests/Goals, Schedule for career specific orientation, Intro to Scholar Advocate
2. Professional Skills Workshops
· Life Skills: Time, Money, and Stress Management
· Career Skills: Resume, Networking & Job Search, Building your Brand
· Workplace Skills: Working as a Team, Effective Communication, Managing Change
3. Occupational Skills Training
· Scholar Advocate Support
· Scholar Support Resources
· Complete Training
4. Employer Network Team: EMPLOYMENT
· Update and complete resume
· Interviewing Preparation
5. One Year Coaching & Mentoring Post-Employment
· Frequent communication from Scholar Advocate during first year of employment
